Boring Work...
Started working for 3 days already...
Well, I'm now doing claims with a insurance company..
First three days was spent on learning the system.. The dreaded AS400 popping up again.. Lousy system.. Really.. But.. It's still used by many companies anyway...
Well, I really think I made a wrong choice here.. Why in the world did I choose a backend operations job??? It's so boring!~!
And yap.. I am looking around for a job again.. This time, focusing on marketing or analyst.. But I'll stay on first till I've found a new job..
Maybe.. I'll go back to sales.. Just maybe.. Haha..
Oh well, colleagues are nice.. Culture's not bad in there.. Seemingly looks good to me in the first few days.. But.. I think that they have a lot for improvements in their processes..
How in the world can they keep on doing OTs and work on some Saturdays also??? Must have some problem somewhere.. I'll see what I can do once I start on the actual work in the next few days.. Haha.. Operational efficiency... Don't think it's that hard for me.. Wahaha..
Oh yar, I was attached to a colleague for the first few days and she was teaching me on the processes.. She is like those blur-cute, dunno anything type of girl.. And she's not pretty.. Sianz.. No motivation at work also liaoz.. Wahaha..
Well, I did learn some things from here... And I lost confidence in claims.. Haha.. Or rather, all along, being a perfectionist, I don't really have much faith in this world... Haha..
Well, if you want to compare, here is worse than DBS.. Really.. Initially, I thought that a foreign MNC with many many years of history won't be that bad..
But... Office ergonomics sucks... Computers are like so outdated.. Everything sucks and the saving grace is the nice culture there...
Well, depending on how, I might be doing my Masters next year with APMI again.. The Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.. One of the top Universities offering MBA.. Haha.. Or maybe an MBA from the University of South Australia...
An MBA from USA.. Then maybe banks will accept me.. Hahaha...
Work again tomorrow.. Sianz..
